What makes them truly special is not only their professionalism and the way they teach, but the human side they bring to every lesson. They are always there with a smile, making you feel comfortable, safe, and confident, even on the days when your motivation is low and the waves just don’t seem to be on your side.

They have a wonderful way of reminding you not to be too hard on yourself, to keep trying, and not to get discouraged when things don’t go as planned. And somehow, while you’re standing on a surfboard, they also manage to teach you a little lesson about life: enjoy what you’re doing, let go, clear your mind, and have fun.

We came here to learn how to surf, but we’re leaving with so much more. We’re taking memories, lessons, laughter, and a little piece of our hearts with us.

Just left Cari Surf Camp after three nights and I miss it already; the villa, the people, the food, the atmosphere, and the surf lessons! If I had known how much fun surfing would be and how amazing this place is, I would have stayed longer! I stayed in a private villa which was super convenient, so clean, and very spacious.

A special thanks to the instructors Bukit and Johan – you were amazing at instructing and making me progress during this short time. Plus, you always had smiles on your faces and a positive energy, keep that up!

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I stayed at Cari surf camp for a week in August, and had a great time. The rooms were nice, beds were comfortable and had nice facilities.
In the dorm villas there was a private pool shared between two dorms (8 people) as well as the pool at the main camp (a few minutes bike drive away from the dorm villas but also offering a free shuttle throughout the majority of the day).

The surf coaching was great and coaches were attentive in the water, and gave great tips to help progress while also being super friendly and fun to be around.
All staff at Cari were also extremely friendly and gave the place a great atmosphere, making everyone feel welcome and giving a very social vibe from the start.
Also had various social events throughout the week such as family dinners/ BBQ and local live music spots.
I’d love to return to Cari in the future!

Good music playing by the pool. The food is really good and also good vegetarian options. The entire place is super pretty. The only thing was, the hostel dorms are in another location down the raod and sometimes the shuttle they offer is not available, i drove between the hostel and the main camp with grab a few times a day, not bad, but would have been nice to know before booking. Otherwise it was very social and good vibes.

But what makes Cari stand out is the staff members. Everyone of the staff members are super nice and welcoming and make the atmosphere really great, so thanks to everyone working there.

Also the surf teachers were great. Specifically thank you to Syan and Doan, for your efforts to teach us surfing!!! Overall Cari is great and hope to come back next year.
